Hartman Heritage Farms was built on a simple belief:
The land is a gift, and it should be cared for with integrity.
For generations, our family has worked Kansas soil with faith, discipline, and respect for the animals entrusted to us. Farming isn’t just what we do — it’s a responsibility we take seriously.
We believe stewardship means more than productivity. It means clean water, healthy livestock, and land that remains strong for the next generation. Every fence repaired, every pasture rotated, every animal cared for reflects that commitment.
Out here, we’re not just raising cattle.
We’re raising children to love the land, honor hard work, and understand that what we grow is a reflection of our values.
At Hartman Heritage Farms, faith shapes our perspective, family shapes our purpose, and the land shapes our work. We are grateful to serve our community with food raised responsibly and honestly.
We don’t just farm the land — we steward it for those who come after us.

Out here, we’re not just raising cattle. We’re raising children to love the land & honor hard work.

Hartman Heritage Farms isn’t just a business — it’s family. For generations, we’ve worked this land
Paul Hartman is the steward behind Hartman Heritage Farms, a family-run farm grounded in faith, responsibility, and respect for the land. What began as a commitment to raise animals the right way has grown into a mission to provide clean, honest food while faithfully caring for God’s creation.
Paul believes farming should work with nature—not against it. That belief shapes every decision on the farm, from rotational grazing and soil health practices to allowing animals to live as they were designed to live.
No shortcuts. No unnecessary chemicals. No
practices that sacrifice integrity for speed.
At Hartman Heritage Farms, livestock are raised without antibiotics, growth hormones, or unnecessary interventions. The focus is on animal welfare, natural nutrition, and long-term sustainability—producing pork (and future beef) that Paul is proud to feed his own family.
Faith plays a quiet but foundational role in the work. Paul views farming as stewardship, guided by the principle found in Ecclesiastes 11:6—faithful work, patient planting, and trust that God brings the growth. The goal isn’t mass production; it’s legacy—leaving the land healthier, the animals well-cared for, and customers confident in where their food comes from.
Hartman Heritage Farms exists for those who value transparency, tradition, and food raised with purpose. From pasture to plate, Paul is committed to doing things the right way—even when it’s the harder way.

Some days on the farm end with spotless boots.
Most days end like this.
“Whoever can be Trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.”
-Luke 16:10
